Spicy Carrots!
Cold and flu season is upon us! After two years indoors, thanks to COVID, our immunity seems to be way down. So, it’s time to boost immunity while we enjoy a sip (or two). I created this cocktail for Tanteo Tequila a while back. It is a margarita-style cocktail featuring carrot, ginger, and jalapeño. The combination of flavors make the drink both spicy and refreshing. Tanteo tequila has a bold spice, but you can tame it by going 50/50 with Blanco tequila.
I Don’t Carrot All
1.5 oz Tanteo Jalapeño Tequila
1 oz Fresh Carrot Juice (I buy mine at whole foods or trader joes)
.75 oz Fresh lemon juice
.50 oz Agave Syrup
Shake with ice until chilled. Garnish with baby carrot dipped in ginger salt. I found one that I liked Amazon, it’s also great for cooking.
